Join us to celebrate two British classics: the hand-raised pork pie, and the sumptuous Scotch egg.

On this half-day course your expert tutor, Sally-Ann Hunt will show you how you can transform these humble and familiar favourites into mouth-watering delights!

Sally will guide you through the craft of pie making, from the traditional hot water pastry to selecting your fillings. Then show you how to wow your guests with the ultimate Scotch egg, all using the best locally-sourced pork and ingredients.

Subjects may include:

  • Hot water pastry
  • Savoury pork pies
  • Scotch eggs

No prior pie making experience is necessary; just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn alongside other lovers of good food.

The School of Artisan Food is on the Welbeck Estate in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, just a few minutes from the A1 and M1.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day. All ingredients, equipment, and recipes will be provided.
